Consultation Fees

Potts Point GP is a private billing practice the fees vary on your consultation and the time spent with your doctor.

  • Item 23 – Level B: $103.00 Rebate $40.40 (typical consult of 15 mins)
  • Item 36 – Level C: $190.00 Rebate $80.10 (longer consult of 30 mins)
  • Item 44 – Level D: $250.00 Rebate $118.00
New patients could be billed at a level C for their first consultation as it may be a requirement

The Allied Health Fees

  • First Visit (1 Hour and 15 minutes) – $265
  • Follow Up (45 Minutes) – $180

In order to receive a rebate from Medicare a referral will be required

If you don’t want a rebate, then feel free to book online.

An appointment for a standard consultation will be made with your preferred doctor or the next available doctor, depending on your preference.

Extended consultations are available on request. If you anticipate that your consultation will be long, please advise the receptionist when making the appointment.

All appointments can be booked on HotDocs or via the phone

If you have an emergency please telephone 000 or go to your nearest Emergency Department.

However we are pleased to offer After Hours consultations. Call 137425 to book your appointment with our After Hours coordinator.

Our After Hours service should not be used in emergencies or life-threatening illnesses or injuries. If you require emergency assistance, call 000 for immediate help.

We comply with Australian Government Legislation, ensuring that the privacy of our patients is maintained.

Complaints – This practice acknowledges that patient complaints are an important source of customer feedback. Under the Health Services Act 1987 people with complaints should try to resolve them directly with the health service provider.

If a satisfactory outcome is not achieved then the complaint can be directed to the Health Services Commissioner for action by calling 03 8601 5200.
